Outdoor Water Supply Systems
When using the SANEXT HDPE (marked “ПНД”) pipes for an outdoor water supply system, environmental factors should be taken into consideration.
The SANEXT HDPE pipes are chemically resistant to corrosive soils and they require no special protection. If assembly requirements are met (backfiller fractional content is correct, filling layers compression techniques are observed), pipes serve their purpose effectively under various conditions: in yards, under parkings or roads for various vehicles.
To avoid unfreezing of the water pipeline without pre-insulation, it should be layed at the depth below the soil freezing level.
If assembly is done during the winter, it should be considered that the impact resistance of plastic is decreased with the temperature lowering. If the environment temperature is below -15ºC, particular precautions should be taken. The minimal temperature for pipes handling is -20ºC.
Indoor Water Supply Systems
When assembling the indoor water supply system, general requirements for polymeric pipes should be met:
- the concealed assembly in channels, chases and cases, to avoid mechanical damage. The channels should have smooth walls and enough space for pipes linear expansion;
- standpipes and horizontal pipelines should be secured with sliding or steady supports;
- according to fire safety requirements, the spots where pipes pass through floors should be secured with soft or hard fire-proof inserts; the space between the insert and the pipe should be filled with soft fire-proof material.
The high chemical resistance of the SANEXT HDPE pipes allows them to be used in the production facilities as technical pipelines for various applications. The SANEXT HDPE pipes are designed for application in outdoor and indoor drinking and technical cold water supply systems.
